if you do get one, i’d advise against wood, i have a wooden one- useless, too much give in the material to grind to a powder,
granite possibly best, I’e a medium sized one, but big one definitely handy,
🙂 Sleeps! made me lol
” i’d advise against wood”
“I’e a medium sized one, but big one definitely handy,”
I don’t know the place you mention in Swains Lane Tybo but i do remember enjoying a wicked cinnamon cake with a coffee in Highgate High Street .Can’t remember the name of the place.
Talking about Highgate i was daydreaming about it earlier after seeing a flat i liked in the lovely named Sothwood Lawn Road.Sadly it cost 950k which is ever so slighty outside my price range.
But a man can still dream and there’s always the possibility-albeit slim-of a lottery win making it a reality.
I do hope this page so far is never taken in isolation, laughing so hard I need a wee. x
must confess Sleeps, i have occasionally in the past, set them up deliberately , but the mortar chat was written in complete innocence 🙂
Make sure you put your woolly knickers on first Sleeps. The wind has a real bite to it tonight and i don’t like the idea of you have a frozen fanny.
Having a frozen fanny not have a frozen fanny.
Not sure how you’d have a frozen fanny.Suppose you’d have to warm it up first.
Ha, marketing, eh?
Talking of Frozen
A Little Star Is Born 🙂
Never heard of that before Emma.Dealers generally are quite that brazen .Do you reckon it could have been a wind up ?
ps ice cream men used to deal round these here parts but at least their displayed price list was for 99’s,cornettos etc.
aren’t quite that brazen
edit man !
Was there pie, Sleeps? And Peas?
That looks evil.
Hot pork pie, mushy peas, mint sauce, Justa. It’s a Yorkshire thing, I don’t go there v often. 😉 x
You see that space where the pies been cut open? Well, a lot of folks would add a blob of HP just there.
ok, that is just the most bilious looking thing…mushy peas? with mint sauce?
The pie looks good though.
That is not a proper pork pie.
Ah but you see, Justa, when you re-heat a pork pie, the jelly absorbs into the crust.
And Inty, trust me, the whole lot is dis-gust-ing. Well, not the mushy peas and mint sauce, obvs, a combination made in heaven. 😉
